While I was drawing this, I was remembering two things:

I grew up in Iowa, and I remember one year, a little girl's family moved there from some huge city out west during middle school. Before the first bell, we were allowed to wander around outside, and I remember seeing her just staring upward, kind of lost in the different groups of people, saying to no one in particular, "Blue. The sky is blue. Really, really, REALLY blue."

I remember thinking that that was weird. Who didn't know the color of the sky? Then when I hit high school. We'd moved out to Virginia and I had my first trip to New York. I was shocked to see that I could barely see the sky, which was dotted with the tops of tall buildings and billboards of all shapes and sizes. I almost developed a feeling of claustrophobia. I spent the majority of the trip looking for a place where I could see the sky.

Those two experiences were running through my head. So yeah.

The sky is blue.

That's pretty awesome, Nymine.

Including the fact that you grew up in Iowa. :D
I not only grew up here, but still live here happily, and don't plan to leave anytime soon.

Heh do tell! Yeah I didn't get much choice(military family), but I don't mind too much. One day I'd like to go back. One day.
